Campaign Details

The H.J. Heinz Company has a long history of supporting our nation’s armed forces, including several activities benefiting Wounded Warrior Project™ (WWP) – a national, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization whose mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors. Events such as a 5K race through Pittsburgh, auctions of autographed sports items, a golf outing, and picnics at a veterans home are just a few of the ways Heinz employees demonstrate their support for this worthy cause.

For the Our Turn To Serve campaign, we distribute specially labeled ketchup bottles to participating restaurants and retail stores. Customers can scan a QR code on the bottle to get access to step-by-step instructions on how to send a personalized “Thank You” card to a veteran. For every “Thank You” sent, Heinz donates $1 to WWP. For messages shared via Facebook or Twitter, Heinz donates an additional 57 cents.

Our 2012 campaign has ended, and we’re happy to report our goal of $250,000 has been reached for WWP. Please join us when the Our Turn To Serve campaign returns later this year.
