  • Bring the original back
    by Darlene
I have been addicted to Heinz Mustard since the early 1970s. The grocery stores in my area didn't carry this mustard -- so I had to make lots of phone calls and special order it. Those who say they can't tell the difference obviously can't remember how good the original tastes. I feel sorry for those who never tasted the original. Why do companies mess with the best product on the market? Anyone remember when they changed coke? Enough people complained so they offered the original coke and the "New Coke" ? Heinz why don't you offer both too? Or bring back the original. And why haven't you answered the questions -- what are natural ingredients. What changes were made from the original to the new?

  • Bring the original back

In the early 70's I'd sneak out of Junior High and go to the Woolworth's lunch counter for a hot dog -- I was addicted to them -- they had these buns I've only seen out East where the side aren't brown and rounded but more like bread -- then I realized it wasn't the hot dog or the bun -- I was addicted to the mustard! From then on I would only use Heinz! It wasn't easy to find -- none of the stores carried it and there wasn't computers then! I had to special order it -- why is it that when a company has a great product they have to mess with it -- anyone remember the new coke? Everyone complained so they had to bring the REAL coke back? Everyone who says they can't tell the difference from the original Heinz and the new -- either has a bad memory or they never had the original! Please bring the original back like Coke did -- you can offer both new (unimproved ) and the best (original) Heinz mustard. People today know that "new and improved" really means "not as good as before and was only changed in order to use cheaper ingredients."
