H. J. Heinz decides to uses a “pickle pin” to attract attention to his booth at the Chicago World’s Fair. The pins are so popular that the attendees line up to get one.

Heinz launches the first Ketchup that is completely free from artificial preservatives.
1937
Heinz builds a Ketchup plant in Fremont, Ohio. It becomes the largest Ketchup factory in the world. Today Fremont produces nearly 34 million cases of Heinz® Ketchup every year.

Heinz invites America to make our next great Heinz® Ketchup commercial in the Heinz Top This Challenge. Thousands of commercials are created and uploaded to YouTube. The grand prize winner is awarded $57,000 and a spot on national TV.
2010
Dip & Squeeze® Ketchup is born, offering three times the amount of Ketchup as traditional 9g packets. In 2011, Dip & Squeeze® Ketchup packages hit stores nationwide, giving dippers and squeezers the freedom to enjoy Heinz® Ketchup anywhere they please.
